We publish our cost structure as the programme develops rather than stating percentages we cannot yet stand behind. Detailed cost breakdowns are shared with funders and sponsors, and the pilot cost of $1.30 per student, per term is documented on the pilot page.

Build capacity, not a one-off intervention.

Offline technology has a different economic structure from cloud services. Once a device is deployed and loaded, it keeps working: no recurring data cost, no subscription, no dependency on a vendor staying online. A contribution buys capacity that continues to teach, term after term.

§ 05

The programme.

Nambi is used as a supplementary ICT module at a vocational training centre in Nansana, across a pilot of 154 students. Learners are taught the practical digital skills employers ask for (word processing, spreadsheets, email, digital filing and data entry) through conversation with an offline tutor.
