A cohort sponsorship buys permanent capacity, not a subscription. Once deployed, the same devices teach term after term with no ongoing internet cost.
§ 01Why partner
Your sponsorship directly funds hardware and curriculum for vocational students in Uganda. Because the tutor runs offline, there are no recurring data or subscription costs, so the money buys capacity that keeps working rather than a service that stops when the funding does.
Every partnership comes with reporting tied to attendance and progress, and the option to visit the programme in Nansana.
§ 02Ways to partner
Sponsor a cohort
Fund the devices, curriculum and local delivery for a group of students for a full term.
Sponsor multiple cohorts
Scale across several training streams or centres, with combined reporting.
Full-centre partnership
Adopt an entire vocational centre, with tailored reporting and deeper engagement.
Package composition and pricing are arranged directly and documented in writing, and are shared with partners on enquiry. We do not publish a headline price that would not hold across different cohorts and hardware.
§ 03What you receive
- Outcome-linked reporting on attendance, progress and cost per learner
- Co-branded devices used by the cohort
- An optional site visit to Nansana, Uganda
- Acknowledgement in reporting and on akaalo.com
- Mapping to SDG 4 and SDG 9 and common ESG frameworks
§ 04Evidence
Outcome evaluation is in progress; we report what is measured, with its method and period. Detailed cost breakdowns and anonymised session data are available to partners on request.
§ 05Process
- Conversation: we discuss your priorities and a suitable cohort.
- Agreement: scope, composition and reporting are put in writing.
- Deployment: devices and curriculum are prepared and the cohort is onboarded.
- Reporting: you receive outcome reporting aligned to your cycle, plus a site visit if you wish.
